Why Callio exists

AI music built around the creator.

Callio begins with explicit creative direction and a deterministic symbolic song plan before audio rendering.

Creator-editable, instrument-pure stems are the objective. Current full-song neural paths primarily produce mixes that require separation, so separated stems are not described as native stems.

Callio separates musical planning from audio realization.

  1. Creative direction

    The creator supplies musical, lyrical, structural, and performance intent.

  2. Composition and theory

    The deterministic core establishes an inspectable symbolic song plan.

  3. Renderer-specific planning

    Performance planning and the experimental Prose Engine support selected engineering paths.

  4. Renderer orchestration

    Selectable local and controlled cloud paths interpret the plan with explicit fallbacks.

  5. Mixing and stems

    Current outputs move through mixing, export, and—where necessary—estimated separation.

  6. Creator review

    The creator reviews, revises, and decides what leaves the system.

Scope: The proposed standalone Arrangement Engine is not built. The Prose Engine is implemented as an experimental module, but normal desktop-path integration is not yet established.
